The Velafrons coahuilensis challenges scientists to blend Latin American Spanish with Old European Latin. Coahuila is the Mexican state where the dinosaur was found.
A plant eater by nature (explaining the duck bill), Velafrons was as long as 35 feet. Dinosaurs were somewhat rare in North America, though it might seem otherwise. Because of an inland sea, aquatic species did best.
