  1. What’s up, Alex? Thanks for commenting my blog, I’m currently preparing some responses, I just got a little sidetracked because I’ve got something like 6 people I’m commenting back-and-forth with.

Also, thanks for point out the 88 tags thing – I didn’t realize it had gotten so out of control! Starting with my most recent post, I’m going through my tag list and being sure to only use relevant tags.

I’m just stopping it because I thought you might find this of interest – it’s angryxtian’s new post accusing me of being a crackhead terrorist. He calls you a retard and a fake Christian.

“Well it’s even worse! This particular athiest [me]( who’s worse even than Dick Dawkins, cause he at leaast tries to sound like he’s not stupid and vile and hateful ) is recruiting Christians to his wicked cause. But I gotta warn you that Alexander the Grate is a libtard and probly a fake Christian. You can fool me, Alexander, but you can’t fool Jesus!”

  2. PS I meant “stopping in” in the third-to-last paragraph. Sorry for the typo. And in the second paragraph I meant “thanks for pointing out…”

  3. What’s a “libtard”? I’ll have to hold my nose and head back to Angry’s site, I guess.

Dawkins isn’t so bad. I don’t really understand the fuss over him. I’m a Christian, and I believe in evolution, among other things. The bit of what he’s written that I’ve had a chance to read has been poetic and eloquent. The man gets a lot right, and, in my opinion at least, he gets a few things wrong. Like anybody else. There’s nothing frightening about him by any means. Certainly he isn’t the monster a lot of my people make him out to be.

Back to Angry, I wonder if I’m the only one who sees the irony (or maybe it’s just stupidity) in his URL? It starts with the word ignorant, and that’s something WordPress lets the end users choose – Angry decided to call himself ignorant. Nobody forced that on him.

I might owe you an apology for having said “tag spam”. I live in the web industry, and every hour I see spam being created. Perhaps I’m a little over sensative toward it, maybe at times seeing the stuff where it isn’t. You seem like an honest person, and clearly you aren’t trying to profit by tricking people into visiting your site. I forget that everybody doesn’t have the same suspicion and hair trigger about the stuff.

So I mean it, you have my apology. I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions and accused you like that.

  4. Libtard is short for “liberal retard.”

I like Dawkins myself, but I think that he can occasionally get sidetracked in his writing and end up getting off-topic. He is a brilliant evolution scientist, though, there is no denying that. Have you seen his TV movie “Root of All Evil?”

His “ignorant Christian” thing is a sort of spiteful self-hatred thing he’s got going on – his “about” page says he’s trying to be ironic, but it doesn’t really work out when it’s an accurate description of him.

No, I don’t think you owe me an apology for the tag thing – it’s true, EIGHTY EIGHT TAGS? That is just ridiculous. I’m glad you pointed out how out of control my tags were getting. I just let ’em pile up!

  5. Just to make it clear, I’ve made all sorts of honest and well meaning mistakes, and I can’t begrudge someone else for the same thing.

If you continue reading my blog, I think you’ll find me a bit of an enigma. I’m a Christian, obviously, and in some cases I’m a moderate one (I fully believe in evolution, want church and state in their own realms, and think my faith is generally private – I like talking with other Christians on the matter, but don’t want to force my beliefs on anybody else) and in other cases I could be seen as a a fundamentalist (I think the creation story in Genisis describes God starting the evolution process).

I found a man named Paul Jub – actually, he found me. The man turns my stomach. People like these 2 give non Christians plenty of reason to hate us. Part of me wonders if Angry Xtian is really an alter ego of Paul’s?

That’s a beautifully accurate thing you noticed, about trying to be ironic, and how that just doesn’t work when it’s true.

  6. You ran into Paul Jub, too?

That bastard really got on my nerves – if you’ll look under the category “Arguments” on my page and go back a little while, you’ll see that me and Paul were in something like 5 arguments – obviously, his arguments didn’t have anything going for them except some insults which weren’t that clever.

I’m glad he finally shut his blog down. I pestered and argued with him about almost every post he did and do wish I could take credit for him shutting down his blog lol

I’m sure I was on his long list of problems that eventually led him to close its doors.

I have read your blog a little, and you seem like an alright guy. I don’t know about the “genesis started evolution” thing, but whatever. I look forward to reading more of your stuff in the future.
